Yasemin Dum

Hi, my name is Yasemin Dum. I would like to tell you some general information about myself. I was born in Lower Bucks Hospital. For most of my life I grew up in Croydon, Pa but recently within the last two years of my life I have been moving a lot. I have one sister named Leyla, two younger half brothers and two older step-brothers. I am 50% Turkish. I am a graduate of Harry S. Truman High school in Levittown. Sometimes I am not a very outgoing person, overall privacy is key to me. I'd rather be alone then in large groups of people most of the time . I enjoy reading and listening to music as well as hanging out with my small group of friends. I'm also very shy and speaking in front of groups of people makes me extremely nervous. Currently, my major is Pre-Social Work. So far I am enjoying life on campus and I am excited to see what the next few weeks hold for me.

  1. Greetings Yasemin, I am also a shy person. Before I chose my major I thought about majoring in Pre-Social Work! I try to talk to a new person every day, and I find the challenge very helpful in alleviating some of my social anxiety.

  5. I love Turkey. I lived in that country when I was a teenager for three years - in the region of Adana, at Incirlik AFB. Last summer, I travelled for the first time to Istanbul; I loved my trip. Such good food and rich history!
